1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the King of the Club mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User" or "you") and The Break Room ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

King of the Club is a pool/billiards ladder ranking and competition management application that allows users to:

• Participate in ladder ranking systems using ELO-based scoring
• Challenge other players and track match results
• View statistics and leaderboards
• Register for competitions and events
• Participate in Sunday Social queue systems
• Receive push notifications about matches and events

3. User Accounts

Account Creation: To use the App, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google authentication. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use this App.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false match results or manipulate rankings
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity

5. Match Results and Rankings

Match results submitted through the App are used to calculate rankings. By participating, you acknowledge that:

• Rankings are calculated using our ELO-based algorithm
• We reserve the right to modify, correct, or void match results if fraud or errors are detected
• Rankings may be reset periodically as determined by The Break Room
• Challenges and matches should be conducted fairly and in good sportsmanship

6. Competitions and Events

Certain competitions and events may require entry fees. By registering:

• You agree to pay the specified entry fee
• Refunds are subject to the specific event's refund policy
• We reserve the right to modify or cancel events
• Prize distribution is at the sole discretion of The Break Room

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of The Break Room and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BREAK ROOM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for any premium features in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Break Room, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App ceases immediately
• We may delete your account data
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

We will notify users of material changes via the App or email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
